not enough space to teach you macroeconomics but it's a function of momentum in one direction or another. once the bull or bear market gains momentum in one direction or another it is a challenge to reverse the direction. it takes significant changes in policy, like Bush reversing Clinton's economic policies. not only did he kill the economy but he sunk it for years to come. don't worry. the liberals will fix the right wing mess through regulation.
